I cannot believe that tomorrow I fly to Spain! I've been anticipating this moment for so long, yet not I can't believe it's actually here. I am so incredibly excited and nervous to begin this new adventure. It's been amazing to see and feel God's faithfulness as I prepare to study abroad for 5 months. I'm so thankful for His wonderful peace as I anticipate all the many new experiences in Spain while saying goodbyes to all my family and friends back home. And while it's been tough to say goodbye, I'm overwhelmed with peace with God's command to, "Be of strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest." Yep, Spain definitely fits into that "withersoever" category! So I know I can trust God with this brand new adventure before me as I "vaya con Dios" in Spain.

When I first started thinking about studying abroad in Spain, I was amazed to find these special verses from Romans 15, "... I will come by you into Spain. And I am sure that , when I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ". How comforting to know that I'm not traveling alone to Spain, truly God will be with me every step of the way.
